If we want to avoid having gastroenteritis, it is important to wash our hands very well to prevent carrying bacteria to our mouths. It is also necessary to wash raw foods, such as vegetables or fruit.
We must clean utensils and dishes that have touched raw meat or fish thoroughly and avoid drinking water from lakes, rivers, or sources that are not potable.
