Ear infection
Ear infection
How do you know you have it?
A lot of pain inside of your ear.
Your ear is red and inflamed.
What causes an ear infection?
An ear infection is normally caused by water staying in your ear after you have spent a lot of time in the water.
What do you have to take?
You have to put special ear drops in your ear for a few days.
Do not put your head under water, including in the bathtub!
What should you do?
Do not use cotton swabs to clean out your earwax. Only use them to clean the outside of your ears. Earwax is there to protect your ears.
Use earplugs when you go swimming to keep water out of your ears.
And remember, always ask your doctor!
