Head injury
Be careful!
Even though a blow to the head might seem mild, in some cases, it can be dangerous.
Even if the fall is from a short height, the impact can be serious.
Sometimes, the wound of a head injury is inside the body and not visible: the brain could have been damaged.
Safety tips
Applying ice to the area of impact helps reduce swelling.
We should be careful not to fall whenever we are in a high place.
We should avoid doing dangerous things: We need to take responsibility for our own safety.
After a head injury, it's important to go to the hospital if there are strange symptoms or anything out of the ordinary: Feeling more sleepy than usual, headaches, bleeding from the nose or ears, vomiting, fainting, blurred vision, numbness in the limbs, etc.
And remember, always ask your doctor!
